Ledford Cemetery (Ft Campbell #109), Trigg County, KY
Jane was the daughter of Andrew Smith. She married Joseph Ledford 7/31/1811 in Fayette Co., KY. They had 6 known children. They bought the house and farm where she was buried from James Dawson in 1845. The brick house was built by John and Thomas Dawson using bricks burned on-site. The US Government acquired the home and farm in 1941 for Ft. Campbell and used the historic home for bombing practice. The ruins of the old home place are about 25 yards from this cemetery.
