Bryan C. Smith, 42, was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Alvin L. and Sharon L. (Guth) Smith in on December 3, 1967. He died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 22, 2010, in The Toledo Hospital from injuries sustained in an motorcycle accident. He was a sheet metal worker for Local 33 for 26 years; he enjoyed fishing, and camping but treasured time with his family most of all. Bryan is survived by wife of 15 years, Stephanie L. (Carder) Smith; children, Alex(Ashley Thimmes) Smith, Tony (Autum Leestma) Smith, Veronica (Dylan Cannan) Smith; grandchildren, Kaden, Landen, Gabe, and Rylee; parents, Alvin and Sharon Smith; brothers and sisters, Cassandra (Kenneth) Egeland, Tammy (Terry) Elam, and Bruce Smith; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bryan was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Earl R. and Joan V. Carder. Family and friends will gather at the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Sunday, September 26, 2010, from 2-8 pm with Scripture Service that evening beginning at 7pm. Prayers will begin Monday, September 27, 2010, at 9:00 am in the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd, Toledo, Ohio where Mass of the Christian Burial will begin at 10 am with Father William Kubacki officiating. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider donor's choice.
