Louise was born in 1855. She was the daughter of William Smith and Ann Leedham. She passed away in 1886. [1]
Little is known of Louise’s short life. When and why she left Brisbane is unknown. However in 1877 just three years after arrival she married Peter Sharp in Noumea, New Caledonia. Peter Sharp is believed to have been involved in the ship building or shipping industry. One of Ann’s two only known cousins, Elizabeth Leedham, had married a Joseph Sharp in England so it is possible that Peter was connected to this family.<DW>
