George was born in 1830 in Indiana.

He married Eliza Catherine Pulliam on 31 Aug 1857 in Washington county, Indiana.^[1] They had a large family.

They were in Harrison township, Harrison county, Indiana in 1860.^[2]

They were in Bible Grove, Clay, Illinois in 1870.^[3] They were in Blair, Clay, Illinois in 1880.^[4]

Eliza passed away in 1890.

In 1900, he was living with his married daughter Maude Anice (Smith) Golloher and her husband Lowery W. Golloher in Douglas, Effingham, Illinois.^[5]

In 1910 and 1920, he was living with son Charles and his family in Fancy Prairie, Menard, Illinois.^[6][7]

He passed away in 1928 in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois.^[8]
