Hello! I have been actively researching my lineage for several years. It all started with a box of old photos my great aunt gave our family 35 years ago that sat for nearly 30 years. Included in the box were two diaries written in 1860 and 1862. I've been putting the pieces together for the past 8 years. Admittedly borrowing the work of others from Ancestry, but have recently been doing footwork of my own. I am now ready to progress to the next level and actually traveling to the places my ancestors lived. I have traced most of my ancestors to their arrival in the US in the mid 1600s on both sides. My most recent arrival was one gg grandparent who arrived in 1840 from England. Most of the rest were already here. I look forward to working with the community to fill in the missing pieces.
