Elrama W. "Ray" Smith Sr., 70, of 350 17th St., Dunbar, died Wednesday at home after a long illness.
He was a retired glass cutter for Libbey-Owens-Ford and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a 60-year resident of Dunbar.
Surviving: wife, Bessell Pattterson Smith; sons, Neal of Dunbar, Steven of Clendenin, E. W. "Corky" Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; daughters, Mrs. Susan LeMasters of Morgantown, Nancy Smith of Charleston; brothers, George of Dunbar, Norman of Culloden, Verl of Beckley, Bill of Elkview, Don of Jacksonville, Fla., Oliver of Charleston; sisters, Mrs. Betty Janey of Dunbar; six grandchildren.
