Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1832 in Plymouth, Devon, England.
Elizabeth married Joseph Wotton in Moretonhampstead, Devon, on the 30 November 1849.[1]
The 1851 Census shows Elizabeth and Joseph living in Pound Street, Moretonhampstead. Elizabeth says she was born in Plymouth, and is the wife of an agricultural labourer. Joseph was born in Bridford. [2]
Ten years later Elizabeth and her family are living in Bowden, They have their two sons, William (8) and Joseph (5) with them. [3]
The 1871 Census Elizabeth and Joseph have sons John (15) and Joseph (5), and a nephew, George Walling (12) living with them. [4]
By 1881 they are living in Butterndon Village. Only their youngest son John (15) is living with them. [5]
Finally in 1891 Elizabeth and Joseph are by themselves. [6]
Elizabeth was widowed in 1891 when Joseph died. Therefore we find her living with her son William, and his wife and family in Moretonhampstead in 1901. She is now 69 years old and described as mother. [7]
Elizabeth was buried after 8 March 1915 in Moretonhampstead, Devon.

Smith-72632 and Smith-45326 appear to represent the same person because: same husband, death is off by 100 years on -45326, looks like a typo as it would have her death prior to her birth
