Biography

Margaret was born in 1866 in Morebattle, Roxburgshire, Scotland.^[1] She was the daughter of William Smith and Agnes Lindsay.

She was living with her parents and siblings in Otto, Kankakee, Illinois in 1870.^[2]

Margaret was the third wife of Thomas Read of Pella township, Ford county, Illinois. They married 05 Apr 1885 in Watseka, Iroquois, Illinois.^[3] They had children.

They were in Pella township, Ford, Illinois in 1900.^[4]

They were in Brenton township, Ford, Illinois in 1910 and 1920.^[5][6]

She passed away in 1952. ^[7]
