Hey Jerry,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Hi!

How are ya? I'm Matty a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well!

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course I'm here to help, just ask!

Hello, I retuned to the community I grew up in (Paint Rock Valley, AL) this past March to care for my parents after working in different areas of the US and England for the last 40 years.

I felt that it was important to expand upon my family's roots with my parents while I have this time to spend with them.
