Biography

Edna Ellen Smith was born January 6, 1924 and is the daughter of Olen Smith and Pauline Reed. Edna grew up in Valley, West Virginia^[1][2][3] along with five siblings; Guy Glenn Smith, Casper Lee Smith, Robert Blake Smith, Sr, Bessie Pauline Smith and John William Smith.

Edna married John Moses Jones about 1942 and they made their home in Baltimore, Maryland. Together they raised three children; Terry Franklin Jones, John Olen Jones and Robert Charles Jones. Edna died March 20, 1981 and is buried in Reedsville Cemetery, Reedsville, West Virginia.^[4]
