She married William Arthur Griggers on 12 Mar 1913 in Faulkner, Arkansas, United States. In 1920, 1930, and 1940, they lived on a farm in Havre, Faulkner County, Arkansas, and had ten children together. On the 1920 and 1930 U.S. Federal Censuses, William listed his occupation as “farmer.” In the 1930 census he said he was a salesman. In the 1950 census both Grace and William are on separate censuses and are both listed as “widowed.” However, there is a marriage record for W.A. Griggers and Ludie Mae Tanner, which took place on 15 Nov 1947 in Conway, Faulkner, Arkansas. On 8 Aug 1949, William Griggers and Ludie May (Tanner) Griggers were divorced. In the 1950 census William was living with his daughter, Thelma (Griggers) Acklin, and her husband and children. Grace passed away on 3 Aug 1963 in Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas.
