Biography

Mary (Smith) Lotspeich was born in Appalachia, in Georgia.

Mary Priscilla Smith was born on February 23, 1855 in Murray County, Georgia.[1] She was the daughter of James Lawrence Smith (1826-1905) and Caroline Nancy (Pendley) Smith (1826-1883).[2][3][4]

She married Tolbert Eason Lotspeich on July 25, 1880 in Murray County, Georgia.[5] Together they had at least twelve children.[6][7]

Mary passed away on June 20, 1945, and was buried at the Center Valley Cemetery which is in Chatsworth, Murray County, Georgia.[1]
