Biography

John Smith was born about 1695 in Richmond, Virginia. Possible parents: John Smith 1662-1698 and Mary Warner 1664-1700. He married Mary Colston in 1738 in Virginia. Children: Edward, John, William, Charles, Sarah, Mary, Colston, Benjamin, Joseph Leonard, Benjamin Aloige, Francis Ignatius. He died about 1745 in Richmond, Virginia.

Not to be confused with Col. John Smith 1715-1771 who married Mary Jaquelin 1714-1764.
