Biography
Son of Prof. JJ Smith of the College of Idaho, where he also attended for a short time - long enough to found the C of I Pep Band. He finished his studies at USC.[1]
He worked as a studio musician at Paramount, Columbia and Disney[1] - where his eldest brother had already made a name for himself.
