Biography

Thomas was born in 1848. Thomas Smith ... He passed away in 1920.

After fighting in several battles as a private he became a Reverend. On Sunday he was the preacher for the families close by. My grandma (Stella Smith) played the organ/piano at the church services.

Thomas Auborn Smith married two times. The two times were to daughters of Nelson Landers and Sarah "Sallie" Sieber. His first marriage was in January 1874 was to Lucy Virginia Landers, until her death August 07, 1886. Two years after her death ( September 25,1888) Thomas second marriage was to Sarah Elizabeth Landers, my greatgrandmother.
