Biography

George was born about 1818, in Massachusetts. He was the son of Anson Smith.^[1]

In 1870, George, age 51, and Mary, age 44, are living in Ellington, Tolland, Connecticut. George is a carpenter and joiner.^[2]

In 1880, George, still married, is living in Howell, Michigan, with his son Charles, and his daughters Florence and Mary. George is a carpenter.^[3]

George died in 1893, in Ellington, Connecticut.^[1] He is buried in Ellington Center Cemetery in Ellington, Tolland County, Connecticut.^[4]
