Elizabeth arrived free to NSW aboard the "Briton" in June 1844 with her parents, Richard & Charlotte Smith and siblings, George, Stephen, Elizabeth and Jane.
Also aboard this ship was her half brother, William Powdrill/Powdrell, Powdrile, Poudrile aged 21 and his wife Hannah.
