Mary was born abt. 1739 and was baptised at St. Michael's Church, Fewston on 29 Jul 1739, "daughter of Samuel Smithson of Fewston, [Carpenter - BT]" [i] & [ii]. She died at Weston on 16 Jul 1805, reportedly aged 62 years [iii] and was buried 19 Jul 1805 in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints, Weston, recorded as the "wife of John Burnell". [iv][1]
