Biography

Mary Agnes Smyth married Bernard Ward on 10 Oct 1878 at St Catherine's Church, Pekina, South Australia. [1]

WARD. On the 3rd September, at her residence, Broken Hill, New South Wales, from acute peritonitis, Mary, the dearly beloved wife of Bernard Ward, and daughter of the late Philip Smith, of Pekina, South Australia, aged 37 years, leaving a husband and eight children and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. Sweet Jesus have mercy on her soul. [2]
