Biography

In the Visitation of Wiltshire in 1623 she was recorded as Margaret, daughter of Henry Smith and Alice Browne.^[1][2][3]

Borth Marshall's and Phillipps' editions of the Visitation of Wiltshire in 1623 indicated she married (unknown) Williams, while in Squibb's edition^[3] he indicated she married a John Williams.

In the will of her father Henry Smith of Baydon, Wiltshire, the will made on 06 Aug 1631 and proved on 08 Feb 1631/1632^[4], he made a bequest to his grandchildren "Nicholas, Henry, Jane and Katherine children of my late daughter Margerie Williams five shillings apiece".
