Biography

Ynglingasaga

Driva ("Drift") was the daughter of Snær ("Snow") the Old in Finland. One winter the Swedish Drot (king) Vanlandi stayed with the family and married Driva, giving her a son, Visbur. When spring came Vanlandi returned home. He promised to return in three winters but did not do so. After ten winters Driva made plans with the witch Huld to either bind Vanlandi to Finland or kill him. He did not go to Finland so he died when a mara (a type of supernatural being) rode him.[1]

Why would you reject a marge because there are errors in one of the profiles? That doesn't make any sense.

Snaersdotter-11 and Snaersdotter-5 appear to represent the same person because: There is only ONE Driva Snaersdotter in Ynglinga Saga. If there were any other ladies of this name they have not been recorded

Please don't reject these merges without adequate reasons or adding sources indicating they are different people. With many of these fictional profiles there will be differences in dates, but those details can be sorted out either after the merge or before the merge is completed. Thank you.

Snaersdotter-22 and Snaersdotter-5 do not represent the same person because: Snaersdotter-5 contains errors (parent? dates and her dates) that make it unwise to merge with another profile.

Snaersdotter-11 and Snaersdotter-5 do not represent the same person because: The only connection is the name and possible father of one of the profiles. There need to be more concordances in order to merge.

Snaersdotter-11 and Snaersdotter-5 appear to represent the same person because: Please disregard dates. There's only one Driva Snaresdotter in the Sagas Early dates are more likely

The dates for this profile are estimations, and so are those for her relations.
