Biography
Appointed by Richard "I'm not a crook" Nixon.[1][2] He was from Texas where Nixon's rival had his head blown apart in an assassination.[3]
He was on the panel that replaced Robert B. Fiske who had said President Clinton couldn't be prosecuted for Whitewater crimes with Kenneth Starr (which also couldn't find any Whitewater crime against President Clinton).[4]
Stocks for Hewlett-Packard surged when his daughter was fired as CEO.[5]
