Ella Adelia Snow was born February 20, 1855, in Milwaukee,Washington, Waukesha Co's, Wisconsin, United States. She's a twin to sister Ellen and daughter of Albert Leonard Snow and Sylvina Kohl .

On a 1900 US Census in Marion Township Bonanza town, Sebastian, Arkansas, United States, her parents are from Vermont and New York. ^[1][2]

She married twice in her lifetime and is the mother of four children with her first marriage to Danis (Dennis) Sullivan. They were married in 1872 in St Louis, Missouri. ^[4]

Sadly, when her husband was 35 years old, he accidentally shot himself while cleaning a pistol. She had just laid her hand on his shoulder and asked him to be careful when the ball discharged from the gun. He died 25 Oct 1885.

1936, is when she passed away on January 1st, at Two Buttes, Baca Co, Colorado, at age 77. ^[6]
