Ella Adelia Snow was born February 20, 1855, in Milwaukee,Washington, Waukesha Co's, Wisconsin, United States. She's a twin to sister Ellen and daughter of Albert Leonard Snow and Sylvina Kohl .
On a 1900 US Census in Marion Township Bonanza town, Sebastian, Arkansas, United States, her parents are from Vermont and New York. [1][2]

She married twice in her lifetime and is the mother of four children with her first marriage to Danis (Dennis) Sullivan. They were married in 1872 in St Louis, Missouri. [4]
Sadly, when her husband was 35 years old, he accidentally shot himself while cleaning a pistol. She had just laid her hand on his shoulder and asked him to be careful when the ball discharged from the gun. He died 25 Oct 1885.
In 1887, she married William A. Ewing, son of John Ewing (II) and Prudence Wright Roberts, on 23 April, in (probably), Kansas or Missouri. [5]
In 1888, she and William A. Ewing lived in Cimarron, Gray Co, Kansas,, where their son Ray was born.
In 1897, they are living in Oklahoma where their son Fred Ewing was born.
In 1900, Ella and William A. Ewing lived in Marion Township, Sebastian Co, Arkansas. Raymond was age 12, and Fred, age 4, both are living with them, as is "step son" Louis Sullivan, age 18. William's occupation is shown as "Coal miner." Louis' occupation is shown but is illegible.
By 1914, they lived at Two Buttes, Baca Co, Colorado.
Settled in 1920, Ella and William A. Ewing lived in Two Buttes (Precinct 8), Baca Co, Colorado. Raymond W. Ewing, age 31, lives with them, as do "Daniel F." Ewing (age 22) and his wife, Nellie E. (age 19). William and Fred are farmers, Raymond an "invalid." Nellie is shown as a saleswoman in general merchandise. They own the home.
1930, they still lived in Two Buttes (Precinct 8), Baca Co, Colorado. Raymond Ewing, age 41, is living with them. William's occupation is shown as "Manager, billiard parlor." They own their home, which is valued at $2000. They also own a radio!
1936, is when she passed away on January 1st, at Two Buttes, Baca Co, Colorado, at age 77. [6]
