↑ A different Samuel Snow was born on June 6, 1733, in Eastham, Barnstable, Mass. Bay, to Nathaniel Snow & Mary Doane; many family trees confuse them. It was the Samuel Snow born in 1737 who moved to Marblehead MA and married Mary White there in 1755. Chet Snow 5 Aug 2017.
↑ The 1790 US Census records one Samuel Snow living in Marblehead. This was Samuel Snow, Jr., b: 1767, who married in 1789 and had an infant son that year. The Census reports 1 male under 16; 1 male over 16; 1 female over 16. Samuel Snow Sr. would have been too old to have a child under 16 in 1790. The 2 men should not be confused. Chet Snow.
