Rebecca Snow was born on May 4, 1740 in Dunstable, Middlesex County, English Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England. This area later changed administrations and became the town of Hudson, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA. Rebecca's parents were Lt. Joseph Snow (1697-1747) and his wife Bridgett (Unknown) Snow (1700-1773). Some family genealogies state her maiden name was Field or Fields but that is Unproven.[1]

On April 22, 1763 in Hudson, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire, Rebecca Snow married Rev. Zebediah Richardson, b: March 6, 1743 in Pelham, Hillsborough, New Hampshire. The couple had the following children:[3]

The couple moved several times, no doubt as Rev. Richardson changed congregations. He was a Baptist minister, and was pastor of the Baptist Church in Fryeburg from 1787 to 1805, when the church was dissolved. He then connected himself with the Baptist Church in Cornish, Maine, still residing in Fryeburg.
