From the Newcastle Journal of 01 Aug 1840:
At Dilston High Town on the 23rd ult aged 61/2 (sic) Ann wife of Mr Thomas Todd.

Thomas s of Thomas & Ann todd of East Brokenheugh 6 May 1827 age 17. John Snowball Todd their s (of Newton) 8 June 1835 age 20. Joseph their s 11 Jan 1836 age 30. Joseph, John, Edward, William their children died in infancy. The above named Ann Todd 23 July 1840 age 64, Mary Isabella their dr 8 Mar 1843 age 31. The above named Thomas Todd 6 July 1848 age 79[4]
