Biography

Anna Catherine was born on 23 Aug 1733 in Hockenheim, Germany. Her father was Georg Sohn and her mother Anna Barbara Hoffmann. Nicholas Ziegler was her husband. His will proves she lived in York, Pa. It also lists some of the children.

If Nicholas and Catherine married in Germany before emigrating to America in 1738, she cannot have been born in 1733 as that would make her only four years old at the time of her wedding, and only ten years old at the time of the birth of her oldest child. Please double check.
