Biography
Andrew A. Sorrells was born about 1857 in Holly Springs Township of Dallas County, Arkansas, the son of David Brooks Sorrells, Sr. and Mary Frances Mosely.

The 1860 U.S. Census lists Andrew at the age of 3 with his parents and two brothers living on the family farm in Holly Springs Township, Dallas County, Arkansas.[1]
In the 1870 Census, Andrew is shown living at home on the farm in Arkansas with his parents and four siblings.[2]
