Elizabeth Sowerby was born in about 1841 in Workington, Cumberland, England. [1] the daughter of Thomas Sowerby. [2]
She (age 19), married Anthony Mccalister on 25 September 1859 in Workington, Cumberland. [2]
Her husband died and she remarried in 1866; to Henry Townley. Their marriage was registered in Ulverston, Lancashire. [3]
In 1871 she was with her husband and 4 children in Roper Row, Dalton, Lancashire. [1]
She died on 12 May 1916 and was buried in the Toowong Cemetery, Toowong, Queensland. [4] [5] [6]
