My article published in "Porter Settlements" on the Brick Wall which I thought was being solved at the time. I did solve just who my maternal grandmother was; but now have a very solid brick wall on her parents. Porter Settlements was a genealogy newsletter for over 30 years dedicated solely to a Porter one name study. It finally came to an end in December of 2008 when the lady who was editing it had to retire.
