Parry Name Study

This is a One Name Study to collect together in one place everything about the surname Parry and its variants. The hope is that other researchers like you will join our study to help make it a valuable reference point for people studying lines that cross or intersect. Please contact the project leader, add categories to your profiles, add your questions to the bulletin board, add details of your name research, etc.

There is a DNA project associated with the surname. This uses FamilyTree DNA and welcomes all direct male line PARRY descendants to test, preferably to at least Y-DNA37. The DNA project runs in conjunction with the Parry one-name study, since the combination of the results from genetic genealogy with those of traditional family history research should prove more effective than either method alone.

Those with PARRY ancestry, but without a direct PARRY male line to test, may gain insight into their family connections by using the FamilyFinder test and are also welcome to join.
