Here is an example of how to use WikiTree to organize a family reunion.

For testing purposes, this will be for the "Sample Family".

We could give all sorts of details here. The date and location of the reunion, of course, but we could also list out games and entertainment for the reunion, talk about who might be attending, talk about previous reunions, or whatever.

This page is automatically connected to family history through the names of anyone who posts to this page. When you click to someone's page, their family tree is easily accessible. We could also simply link to a family tree like this: Our Sample Family Tree.

You can use this space for first-person messages and memories.

For example, you might post a memory from an earlier family reunion, or post notes about how the event went after the Sample Family Reunion is over.

If I have a question about the reunion and post it here other family members can see the question and any answers that are posted. If they're on the Trusted List they will also get an e-mail notice (compiled once a week) that this page has been changed.

Anybody can add a note here, even if they're not on the Trusted List (yet).

For example, Joe-Southern Sample might find this page and ask if this is for the Sample Family of Alabama. If it's for the Sample Family of Massachusetts he's not interested.
