Scope

This free-space profile will cover those residents, regardless of nationality, that lived in an area bounded by the current State of Louisiana, between the dates of 1763 and 1802 which we will call Spanish Louisiana.


The Territory of Louisiana

was created by the signing of the Treaty of Paris by France, Spain, and Great Britain. Spain governed the colony of Louisiana for nearly four decades, from 1763 through 1802, returning it to France for a few months until the Louisiana Purchase conveyed it to the United States in 1803.[1]

Hi! Valle-96 has a wanted cat "Spanish Louisiana Territory"

I added the existing "US Southern Colonies Spanish" category, but...

I think either a "Category:Spanish Louisiana Territory" or "Category:Spanish Louisiana" under Category:US Southern Colonies Spanish could be useful. Did you have any plans in that direction?
