Henrietta Spangler Coover Birth: Feb. 26, 1823 Death: May 18, 1915 Myerstown Lebanon County Pennsylvania, USA

19 May 1915: At her West Main Avenue home, last evening, Mrs. Henrietta Coover, nee Spangler, widow of the late Joseph Coover, died, aged 92 years. Mrs. Coover was Myerstown's oldest resident and up to several mouths ago, she was a remarkably well preserved woman, considering her great age. For several weeks she had been failing rapidly and those about her knew the end was a question of but a short time. Her husband, the late Mr. Coover, who died about 18 years ago, was a prominent citizen of town and served a term as an Associate Judge of Lebanon County and filled other important offices. The deceased was practically a lifelong resident of Myerstown. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Spangler and was the last survivor of her family. No children survive, but she leaves the following grandchildren: Miss Annie Coover, of Jersey City, N. J.; Mrs. Margaret Francis, of Boulder, Colorado, who Is here on a visit; Edward J. Coover, of Allentown: Mrs. Rev. Ira Klick, of Strausstown; George D. Coover, Ralph J. Coover and Miss Emily R. Coover, all of this place. Mrs. Coover was a member of the Myerstown Reformed church and Sunday school. The funeral arrangements will not be completed until sometime today, after the arrival of Mrs. Klick.
