John W. Spangler, aged 54 years, an esteemed citizen, and supervisor of Bethel Township, died on Saturday night. The funeral will take place from his late home, near Mt. Zion, on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. He leaves a wife and ten children, seven sons, George, Milton, John, Henry, Frank, Robert and Jacob, and three daughters, Mrs. Harvey Moyer, Mrs. Wm. Houtz, and Miss Emma, at home, to mourn his sudden death. He was a member of the Jr. American Mechanics, of Myerstown, who will attend the funeral.
