On 17 Nov 1899 John Wilkinson was married age 35 at Mangatete, Awanui, Northland, New Zealand to Ada Maria Spanhake aged 25. (See son's birth certificate, attached) [1]

From 1908 to 1922 Ada Wilkinson she was on the Electoral Rolls for Bay of Islands.
From 1922 to 1938 she was on the Electoral Rolls for Wellington South.

Ada Maria (Spanhake) Wilkinson died on 23 Feb 1954 (aged 78) and is buried at the Mount Camel Cemetery, Houhora, Northland [3]
