He was born "the 15 the 12 mo 1659" [1659/60] in Chelmsford.[2]

1st to Hannah (Ann) Ballard 20 Sep 1681[1] The marriage, in Chelmsford in 1681, of John Spaulding to Ann Bollard/Ballard of Andover is listed in Andover as 20 July, [3] and in Chelmsford as "20th of the seventh month: 1681"[4]

Death, Estate

John Spaulding died 28 November 1709 in Plainfield, Connecticut. 'John Spaulding of Plainfield in the County of New London deceased November 28th. 1709: The Estat of the deceased person aforesd is as aprised by us Desember 19th 1709'.[7]

7 June 1710, Ann Spoldin and Samuel Spoldin, administrators of the estate of John Spoldin late of Plainfield, deceased, post bond.

The inventory lists the names and ages of the children: Samuel, 26; Jonathan, 21; Eleazer, 19; William, 14; Hannah, 28; Dinah, 16.
