Howard had an illness when he was young, that caused him to have heart issues that shortened his life. He loved to write, draw and paint; and he left behind journals that tell about daily joys and pains that he experienced. He married Beulah in CA, and they had two children; one of which I understand, he never met. Beulah was close to Howards family, and remained so until her death.

Howard had a daughter Pamela, and a son Howard Jr. If anyone knows where they are, I would love to send pictures and journals that their father left behind; they will connect them to him, in a very special way. Peggy Thomason Failla
