Biography

John was working on the mines when he became breathless so they took him to Kalgoolie hospital where they thought he had pneumonia. They then flew him the Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth where he was put on life support and then 2 days later on the ecmo machine , followed by dialysis. It was when they decided to shave his beard off for the breathing tube that they noticed a mark under his chin and decided to do a biopsy which came back as stage 4 malignant melanoma, the mark under his chin wasn't there from birth or childhood it was a melanoma. He went to Hospital on the 29 March 2015 and they turned the life support off on the 20 April 2015 My 1st cousin Butch as I called him, had a heart of gold, cheeky and vibrant. Leaving behind his lovely wife Kelly and children.
