Sara (Speed) Blackmore was a daughter of the historian John Speed, and the wife of Edward Blackmore, a stationer and bookseller at St Paul's Churchyard in London, England.
Sara Speed married Edward Blackmore on 30 April 1622 at St Giles Cripplegate, London.[1]
Edward Blackmore was a member of the Stationers; Company of London, and he had served his apprenticeship alongside Sara's uncle Daniell Speed. For a time, Blackmore and Daniell Speed both operated as stationers at the Blazing Star, St Paul's Churchyard.
Sara and Edward had three children:
She died in London in 1652 and was buried at St Faith under St Paul on 28 August 1652.[2]
