Biography

Adam Speed was born in 1835, to parents Peter Speed and Isabel Neilson. He was baptised on 21 October 1835 at Newburgh Associate Congregation, Newburgh, Fife, Scotland^[1].

In the 1841 Scotland census,^[2] Adam is recorded living with his mother and siblings in Newburgh.

Adam married Jessie Milne in 1858^{[3] [4]}

Adam died in 1876 at the age of 41.^[5][6]
