Biography
John Francis Bagley met Beatrice Spence or Spencer when he was a young young or at least he knew of her. She was much older than him. After divorce from his first wife and mother of his 4 children he was dc'd from Agnew state hospital in California for manic depression he headed back home to Holbrook, MA and met the widow Spence. They married and he found enormous happiness with her. She moved to Calif with him bought him a bar in Redwood City, CA and a new home in Milpitas, CA 1965? He drove a brand new vehicle and had 2 german shepherds. She never went with him when he took his 2 youngest children Jean and Rusty to Playland, the zoo or the Cliff house on week ends. She had a daughter named Christine in MA. Her first husband had died. She was a vocalist in the local church in MA. Her and dad visited the Madans in Sacramento, CA I have seen photos of her visits to Vernon and kids. Also Aunt Verna's daughter Jane Sullivan Hess knew her and visited when coming to California.
