Hello again Diane!

You've been a member for a while so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!

I want to help! Click my name, send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.

Thanks for signing the Honor Code, Diane! I hope you discover as much about your family as I have about mine over the last several years.

You might be interested in some of the tips and tricks that we have included in the How-Tos that we share with new members these days. They were created long after you became a member so you never received them.

If you have questions about how WikiTree works, let me know and I will find answers. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Cindy ~ WikiGreeter

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.

Wow! We're fourth cousins once removed through Leonard H. Beeler. It's always great to meet a new cousin.

Emma :-)

Please check your pending merges.

Thanks

Esmé

Hi My name is Diane Marie (Spence) Walsh. I'm the Gr.Gr. granddaughter of Jean-Baptiste Spence. JB's father was possibly Joseph Spence b. 1772 Harray,Orkney,Scotland and died October 14,1856 Red River Settlement Manitoba,Canada. Joseph's father was possibly Nichol Spence of Birsay Orkney Scotland. Just hoping that someone has confirmation that this Joseph Spence is indeed my GGG Grandfather. Joseph's GGG Grandfather could possibly be Oliver Spens b.abt.1610 in Birsay Orkney. He died abt. May 1660. I'm hoping there's a relative who may be willing to share the paperwork proving once and for all that Joseph and Oliver Spence are my relations. Thank you.
