Zachariah "Zach" Spencer II was born March 13, 1732 in Baltimore, British Colony of Maryland, the son of Zachariah Spencer I and Christian (Cobb) Spencer.
He was the brother of Elizabeth Spencer, Rachel Spencer, Rebecca Spencer, James Spencer, Charity Spencer, William Spencer, John Spencer and Margaret Hill (Spencer) Crail. [1]
Zac marrried Ann Pogue, the daughter of John Pogue and Sarah Preble. Zac and Ann had the following children:
Charity (Spencer) Robinson,
Elizabeth Spencer,
Zachariah Spencer III,
John Spencer Sr. and
James Spencer
Zachariah moved his family to what became Spencer Mountain.

Zac died in 1789 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, United States. HIs will was probated in 1789.[2]
