Memories: 1
Enter a personal reminiscence or story.
I remember visiting with my grandfather at his home in Paris. I remember two purses he carried one was a coin purse which was round in shape and made from a round piece of leather that folded together in many folds to hold the coins. In recent years I found a similar item and have used it ever since. He had another which was long and folded over with a snap closure and was more like a pouch than a wallet.

Another memory was how much he liked horses and his always going to the July 3 annual horse show at the local rodeo grounds.

I remember when he died. I had come home from school and Mom and Dad were there with Mom crying and they told me about Grandpa. We lived In Lincoln just outside of Idaho Falls, Idaho at the time. There was a lot of snow that winter and I remember the snow banks on the side of the roads in Paris when we went home for the funeral.
