Biography

Elizabeth was the daughter ofCharles Spencer Elizabeth Weston. She arrived with them aboard the ship Calista in 1829[1].

She married James Gallop (1811-1880) at St Georges Church, Canning[2]

She passed away in 1872, aged 47[3] and was buried at the East Perth Cemetery[4].

Elizabeth was recorded in the Swan River Colony muster as being the 100th person to arrive and he brother John who was born on the Calista 9 days before it arrived in the Colony is reported to be the first birth of a white child recorded in the colony
