He married Mary Ann Ross on 28 March 1875 in St Clement Danes, Westminster, Middlesex. [1]
In 1881, a blacksmith, he was with his wife and 2 daughters living at 11 Gilbert Street, Clement St Danes, Middlesex. [3]
Research Notes
All children were registered under the name Spencer with a mother's maiden name of Ross but Richard Spencer doesn't appear to have married Mary Ann Ross until 1875. No marriage in around 1861 has been found (their first daughter Mary Ann was born in 1863.
