Selden was born in 1803, the son of Ichabod Spencer and Phebe Doty. He passed away after 1860.
Probably born in Connecticut where his father, Ichabod, lived. Stepmother was Phebe Doty. Selden and Phebe Sarah may have been married there. Probably buried with wife in Benton-Bar Cemetery, Kyserike, Ulster, New York.
