Eunice Spencer was born in 1819 in Pickering, Upper Canada, the daughter of George D. Spencer and Mary Ann Wixson. She married John Udell on 23 December 1840 in Pickering. Her parents were living on lot 18 concession 9 in 1837, a lot owned by her mother Mary Ann Wixson's parents Joseph Wixson and Deborah Townsend.
John and Eunice had four children, George, Mary Jane, Katherine and John Eli Udell.
Eunice died around 1853. John remarried Margaret Westunberger and, had seven more children, and in 1866 moved to Sanilac County, Michigan .
