In 1891, Joseph L Spencer (age 7, scholar) living with his parents and siblings in Main Street, Ratby, Market Bosworth, Leicestershire. [5]

In 1901, Joseph L Spencer (16, a carpenter apprentice) was living with his parents and siblings in Billesdon, Leicestershire. [6]
